What is the Future of Interior Design in Houston?

The design culture in Houston is becoming EVEN more diversified, personalized, current, cutting edge, but still warm and inviting.  I don’t believe that other major Texas cities are that different, or for that matter, anywhere else.  It’s such a small, connected world today.  You still have to consider different climates, terrain, methods of construction, codes, etc., but it’s mainly the client and how the space will be used.  Individualism and comfort are key.  The use of green products has become more and more popular, lots of requests for reclaimed pieces too. But, in the future I believe there will be even more and more green and sustainable design.  I also think, and hope, we will build and design to last longer, with concern about what kind of footprint will be left behind, not be so disposable, and conserve our resources.
