June 21st marks the first day of summer, but for most children summer break just started. Summertime is usually connected to outside activities like pools, parks, and family vacations, but who says your home can’t feel summery? Follow one of more of the below easy tips, to “summerfy” your home!
Tip One: Declutter your home and allow for minimal accessories with pops of color.

Tip Two: Liven up a space with succulent plants, such as cacti, in whimsical planters, or keep it simple with fresh cut flowers in a mason jar.

Tip Three: Brighten up your sofa or bed with fresh pillows.
Tip Four: Have any tired lamps that are looking for a new life? Go crazy and lacquer the base, shade, or both!

Tip Five: Do an artwork swap with framed shells or summer landscapes.
Tip Six: Add a seating arrangement near windows to allow for summer reading and conversation while staying out of the elements.
